College Education
I attended Clark State Community College and Wright State University. I graduated from Wright State in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Integrated Language Arts and again in 2013 with a Master's Degree in Education
Prior Teaching Experience
I student taught at Stebbins High School and Thurgood Marshall High School in Dayton, Ohio, as well as participating in a tutoring program at Westwood Elementary
I have been teaching at Northmont Since 2013, during which time I have taught Language Arts 10 Academic, Language Arts 10 General, Language Arts 12 General, and Language Arts 12 Academic: Sports Literature
Hobbies and Interests
I am an avid sports fan. I love all sports but am especially fond of college football, college basketball, soccer, and auto racing. I have attended every Indianapolis 500 since 1997 and have traveled to many other states to attend races
I love music, especially rock music. Some of my favorite bands include The Black Keys, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, and The Whigs just to name a few. I will listen to just about anything I can get my hands on.
Art is another passion of mine. I enjoy both creating and viewing art work. I often ask students to contribute their artwork to display in the classroom throughout the year.
